As a multidimensional artist JoiLynn creates art in the realm of dance and music with her unique vision of provocativeness, jagged edges and mystery expressed through technicality and artistry that marries the entertainment and art worlds. She is a choreographer, perforrmer, creator, and producer of artistic expression from the dance perspective which means she is a undefined creator, Wether it be choreographing a film or music video,  producing and creating her own dance evening length show or film, being a featured perfomer , acting in a film using her movement to accent her character, such as in sci fi , action, and fantasy films which are her personal favorite, or writing and music which she presents through a dance frame both in video and in live stage format.  A clasical trained dancer in Modern and Ballet at the Alvin Ailey school, who later branched into musical theatre, commerical dance, and studying afro carribean folkloric movement and  hip hop styles in the underground scene in NYC, JoiLynn brings a unique , diverse inlfuence to her work as a creative. Couple that with her love for science, fantasy, and mystery and you will understant all that she is.  This creativity  branched out from movement into  music creating an ecletic expression that fuses the two together.  Both her movement and her music are a sultry commentary and the underworkings of life . 

As a creator, she produces and creates innovative dance based projects and collaborations for stage and film.  Known as a sort of “sci-fi” choreographer, she creates with a variety of techniques and music from punk rock and classical to hip-hop. She creates concepts that cross borders combining elements of film, visual art, fashion, and even magic. Her signature is creating concepts through movement for projects that require a true collaboration and innovative approach to using movement as an accent .                         Her work has been featured in projects such as “The Rainbow Project’ in Barbados, The Ladies Of Hip Hop Festival, DC Fringe Festival, Harlem Stage, for recording artists Sofi Green, Mental™, and Wunmi, for “The Shipment” a play by Young Jean Lee, at Sol Afrik: African Fashion Week in NYC, and “Michael and Michael have issues“ on Comedy Central. As an artist who is serious about the pedagogy of dance and developing dance artists and the technique of dance, you can also find her instructing  master classes  in addition to having worked as a dance critic, dance grant panelist, competition judge, and has been a featured artist in Dance Mogul magazine.
